East stuns North

BANGALORE: East Zone stunned North in the semifinals of the 13th DGQA inter-zone volleyball tournament at the CQAL grounds here on Thursday. East outspiked North for a 25-16, 27-25, 25-16 win and will meet fancied South in the final slated for Friday.

South Zone, with international Jagadeesh and T.G. Shankar firing from all cylinders, cruised through to an emphatic 25-7, 25-16, 25-9 win over Central Zone.
