An action replay

An action replay of a speech! The other day, a ceremony organised by the Indian Coast Guard to hand over distress alert transmitters to fishermen began, as scheduled.

The chief guest, Fisheries Minister K.P.P.Samy, however, arrived a few minutes late. Even as the Coast Guard Commander Inspector-General Rajendra Singh was half-way through his address, the Minister appeared.

The Commander stopped his speech, walked down the podium and received the Minister. On his return, he took the microphone and delivered his address all over again.
