Handbag stolen from commuter

BANGALORE: Speaking on her mobile phone while travelling in a crowded BMTC bus proved costly for a woman commuter as she lost gold ornaments estimated Rs. 2.50 lakh and Rs. 10,000 cash on Wednesday. According to the police, Mandakini Venkatesh Jadhav of Vidyanagar in Hubli boarded a bus to Kengeri at Kempegowda bus station around noon on Wednesday. After travelling some distance, she received a call on her mobile. After the call Mandakini realised that some one had stolen her handbag.
