Vignesh, Irfan make it

Chennai: Vignesh Mohan of Tamil Nadu and Irfan Khan from Hyderabad were selected in the under-22 category for the All-India competition in the MRF-Gatorade pace hunt at the MRF Pace Foundation ground here on Thursday.

The Chennai leg included budding pace bowlers from Hyderabad.

In the Gatorade Pros section, where the State Associations recommend the pacemen, Hyderabad’s Anwar Ahmad Khan and P.M. Sarvesh Kumar and Tamil Nadu’s R. Suthesh were picked.

The selected pacers: Under-15: A. R. Anand Kumar; Jitendra. Under-22: Vignesh Mohan; Irfan Khan (Hyd). Gatorade Pros: Anwar Ahmad Khan (HCA); P.M. Sarvesh Kumar (HCA); R. Suthesh (TNCA).
