PANAJI: Chief Minister Digambar Kamat has said that the Government will study the issue of recovery of the land allotted to the promoters of Special Economic Zones, which the State recently sought to be scrapped. Responding to a question raised by leader of the Opposition Manohar Parrikar during the question hour on the second day of the State Assembly session on Friday, the Chief Minister said that the Government could not decide on this issue “off-hand”. “We have already recommended scrapping of all SEZs to the Union Government and we will have to study the issues such as recovery of the land allotted to them,” he said.
