ECoR revenue up

BHUBANESWAR: East Coast Railway (ECoR) posted a revenue earning of Rs. 3885.62 crores in originating basis, registering an increase of 15.97 per cent in the third quarter.

The railway zone loaded 67.79 million tonnes of freight by registering an increase of 11.92 per cent more than the corresponding period of last financial year and earned Rs. 3460.56 crores, an ECR release said here on Friday.

The ECR increased its freight loading and passenger carrying during the first three quarter of the current financial year.
