Science fair attracts 30,000 students

Eager ones: Students wait in long queues to visit the science exhibition in MNR Medical college grounds in Sangareddy.
Sangareddy: The ongoing Science fair here has been attracting large numbers of students from different parts of the district. An estimated 30,000 students visited the exhibition in the past three days.
School students accompanied by their science teachers are thronging the venue with enthusiasm. Students were seen waiting in long serpentine queues to see the exhibits displayed At MNR Medical College.
Shortage of water
However, the students visiting the exhibition held in the district after almost three decades had to face severe shortage of water.
Few students who waited in the Sun fainted for lack of shade and drinking water. Cashing on the problem, few people started selling water packets at exorbitant rates. Some good Samaritans were found distributing free biscuit packets to the students who came from long distances to see the exhibition.
With the exhibition dining hall serving food only to the participants, visitors had a tough time in finding food. Minister for Major Industries and Sugar J. Geetha Reddy would be distributing prizes at the Valedictory on Saturday.
