Voters’ list published for 24 Assembly constituencies

PUDUCHERRY: The Elections Department would be displaying voters’ list of 24 Assembly constituencies at all polling stations/ERO/AERO offices from Thursday for a period of seven days (excluding holidays) for public inspection, a press release from the Joint Chief Electoral Officer said.

The constituencies are: Muthialpet, Cassicade, Rajbhavan, Uppalam, Orleanpet, Nellithope, Mudaliarpet, Nettapakkam, Kuruvinatham, Bahour (SC), Thirubhuvanai (SC), Mannadipet, Ussudu (SC), Villianur, Reddiarpalayam, Lawspet, Kotucherri, Karaikal, Karaikal (south), Neravi, Thirunallar, Nedungadu (SC), Mahe and Palloor.

The lists for the remaining constituencies – Bussy, Ariyankuppam, Embalam (SC), Ozhukarai, Thattanchavady and Yanam – would be published at a later date.

This is owing to the Election Commission of India’s order for 100 per cent physical verification of claims and objections, the release added.
