Relief for Pavan Kalyan

VISAKHAPATNAM: It was a relief for film star and Chiranjeevi’s younger brother Pavan Kalyan as a city court on Friday found that the bigamy charge levelled against him by his wife Nandini had no evidence.

First Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate K. Krishna Murthy declared that the city police, who were asked to investigate into the complaint filed by Ms. Nandini, found no evidence that Pavan Kalyan resorted to bigamy. However, Ms. Nandini was given time till Jan. 18 to file any objectionsand to produce more evidence if any, to prove her charge and to continue the case, her advocate Bevera Satyanarayana said. Later in the day, the two cases in which Ms. Nandini sought maintenance and Pavan Kalyan wanted divorce from his wife were being heard by the Family Court judge L. D. Prasad who directed both to appear before the court on Jan. 25 without fail.
