THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister in charge of Haj Paloli Mohammed Kutty said here on Friday that the Union Foreign Affairs Ministry and Air India should lift the curbs on bringing holy water from the zamzam and ensure adequate facilities to pilgrims returning from Makkah. Mr. Kutty said the journey by pilgrims who had registered with the Haj committee was arranged according to a pact signed between the Centre and Air India. There were complaints that the aircraft used for carrying the pilgrims did not have the facility to transport their luggage. The airlines had also imposed restrictions on bringing the holy water from Jeddah. — Special Correspondent
