“Emulate deeds of Lal Bahadur Shastri”

NEW DELHI: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president J.P. Agarwal on Friday urged people to emulate the deeds of Lal Bahadur Shastri who led a simple and upright life.

Addressing a meeting of presidents of the Youth Congress, Mahila Congress, NSUI, Sewa Dal and chairpersons of all the DPCC Cells, he said: “Shastriji had a humble background, but his hard work, simplicity, honesty and patriotism saw him climb to the post of Prime Minister of the country.”
