New office-bearers of SICA

HYDERABAD: S. Chakravarthy, a retired IAS officer, is the new president of the South Indian Cultural Association (SICA). He was unanimously elected at the general body meeting here recently. The other office-bearers are: D.S. Jabamany, B.Ch.V. Subba Rao, J. Balasubramanian, I. Venkatanarayana, N. Ramesh Kumar (vice-presidents), R. Chakrapani (honorary secretary), N. Rajasekar, K. V. Ramana (joint secretaries), V. Ramachandran (treasurer) and V. C. Sampath (joint treasurer). Besides, a ten-member managing committee was also elected. –Special Correspondent
