Negi nets winner

NEW DELHI: A well-measured free-kick from Subhash Negi did the trick, as Ahbab Club beat defending champion Indian Air Force (IAF), New Delhi, 1-0 in a group ‘B’ super-league match of the SAIL-ONGC DSA senior division football league at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Friday.

Ahbab qualified for the semifinals with nine points from four matches, while IAF found itself virtually out of the race with one point from three matches.
