Special audit training programme concludes

TIRUCHI: A two-day special programme to impart training on conducting audit of the accounts of the primary agricultural cooperative banks to the cooperative department and cooperative audit department staff held at the Tiruchi District Central Cooperative Bank premises concluded here on Thursday.
The training programme was conducted as per the recommendations of the Prof. Vaidyanathan Committee.
Joint Director of Cooperative Audit Department S. Raja Mohamed inaugurated the programme on Wednesday with another joint director, N. C. Saradha, presiding over the inaugural.
The Regional Joint Registrars of Cooperative Societies, R. K. Moorthy (Tiruchi) and Sivaji (Karur); Palanivel (Perambalur); Ravichandran (Virudunagar); the Special Officers of the Cuddalore District Central Cooperative Bank, Mirunalini, Tiruchi District Central Cooperative Bank, R. Brinda, Villuppuram District Central Cooperative Bank, P. Renugambal and others were the resource persons.
About 90 deputy directors of Cooperative Audit Department of Tiruchi, Perambalur, Karur, Cuddalore and Villuppuram regions, and the general managers of the district central cooperative banks participated in the training programme, according to a press release of the Special Officer of the Tiruchi District Central Cooperative Bank.
