Sangareddy: Minister for Major Industries and Sugar J. Geetha Reddy gave away prizes for the winners at the 39 State Science Exhibition at MNR Medical College auditorium here on Saturday.

Viswabharathi school of Nuzividu (Krishna), RBVRR UPS School Mubarakpur (Nizamabad), MPUPS Dusarapamu (East Godavari), Keshav Reddy Talent School, Kurnool and AP Tribal Welfare School (Warangal) won first prizes under the energy resources theme. Under the water management segment Little Flower High School of Nalgonda, St. Paul’s High School Phirangipuram (Guntur), GHS Rampachodavaram (EG), Gowtham Model School Jagityal (Karimnagar), ZPHS Kaluzuvvalapadu (Prakasam) and Tribal School Konavalasa (Vizianagaram) won the first prizes. In education technology category Keshav Reddy Concept School Chittoor, ZPHS Vavilapadu (Vizianagaram), Tribal School Srikakulam, MPUPS School Laxminagar (Visakhapatnam), ZPHS Burugupally (Medak) and Tribal welfare Ashram School (Warangal) received first prizes.

In disaster management sub theme APSWRS Mahboobnagar, SSD ZPHS Vaddivaripalem (Guntur), APTWRS Seethampet (Srikakulam), Navabharath High School Palvancha (Khammam), MP UP School Baswapur (Medak) and APTWRS Eturunagaram (Warangal) won first prizes. In mathematical modelling Vani Secondary School Karimnagar, RBVRR School Mubaraknagar (Nizamabad), Peter’s School Konavlasa (Vizianagaram) and St. Thomas High School (Warangal), MPUPS Korumilli (EG) won the first prizes.
