Guruvayur: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is expected to arrive here on Sunday night. He is expected to visit the Sreekrishna Temple and offer ‘thulabharam’ on Monday. Security at the temple has been tightened in connection with the visit. Manoj Sasidhar of the Gujarat Police held discussions with top Kerala police officials. The Gujarat police was put on high alert last December following a communication from the Centre about a threat to Mr. Modi’s life from terror outfits, according to reports. Mr. Modi is being given Z-plus security cover. He is also being protected by Gujarat police’s commando force. — Staff Reporter
