Bangalore, Delhi in final

MANGALORE: Bangalore and Delhi Universities entered the final of the all-India inter-University women’s tennis tournament here on Saturday.

Bangalore got the better of Punjab University 2-0, while Delhi defeated Osmania 2-0.

The results: Bangalore bt Punjab 2-0 (Asha Nandakumar bt Simer 6-2, 6-1; Akshitha Basavaraj bt Neha Singh 7-6, 7-5); Delhi bt Osmania 2-0 (Sanaa Bhambri bt Rajarajeshwari 6-0, 6-2; Ankitha Bhambri bt Preethi Shravan 6-4, 7-5).
