Jammu: Three lecturers of a Government higher secondary school in Udhampur district were suspended for remaining absent from their duty. Deputy commissioner of Udhampur, O.P. Kalandria, during his surprise visit to the school on Friday, found three lecturers absent from their duty, an official spokesman said. Those suspended include Pawan Kumar, Shiv Dev Singh and Pooja devi. He also ordered the chief education officer (CEO) Udhampur, to conduct an inquiry into it and take strict action against the absentee lecturers under rules.
