Examination registration: Students of colleges that have not paid the affiliation fee for 2007-08 would not be allowed to register for university examinations, the syndicate has decided.

MD Homoeo: Applications for the part two (old and new scheme) MD Homoeopathy examinations scheduled to begin on January 24 can be submitted without fine till January 15 and with a fine of Rs.50 till January 18.

BHMS: Applications for the third BHMS examinations beginning February 5 can be submitted without fine till January 16 and with a fine of Rs.50 till January 21. Candidates will have to remit Rs.200 as fee for the centralised valuation camp, along with the regular examination fee.

International seminar: The Department of Linguistics will organise an international seminar on ‘Globalisation and the Malayalam language’ from February 19 to 21. In connection with this, an essay writing competition will be held on the same subject. Essays can be written in either English or Malayalam and should not exceed five pages.

The essays, attested by the Head of the Department concerned, should reach the Head of the Department of Linguistics before January 31. The best two essays will be presented at the seminar.

PG Ayurveda: The results of the final PG Ayurveda examinations held in November 2007 have been published.

BHMS results: The results of the first year BHMS examinations held in October 2007 have been published.
