Flights delayed

BANGALORE: Passengers at the city airport were stranded for over five hours on Saturday as flights operating between the city and Delhi were delayed due to “operational reasons” and fog in the two cities. The morning flights of Indigo Airlines from Pune to Nagpur and Nagpur to Delhi were cancelled following the cancellation of Bangalore-Pune flight. This affected the schedule of other flights.

The airline spokesperson said the delays and cancellations were because of “operational reasons” and “bad weather”.
