Metro ridership records an increase

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation on Friday recorded an increase of about 32,000 in its overall ridership by 8 p.m. The daily revenue earned also showed an increase of about Rs.2 lakh. DMRC officials said the footfalls at Pragati Maidan station shot up by 45,000 while the earnings rose by over Rs.75,000 from the daily average. due to the ongoing Auto Expo.
