Body of retired engineer found

Hosur: The half-burnt body of Raghvan (60), a retired executive engineer of the Karnataka Electricity Board of Samrajpet, was found in a remote area of Samalpallam near Shoolagiri on Friday.

According to the police, the face was beyond recognition. An identity card was found in his shirt pocket.

Police suspect he might have been killed elsewhere and the body dumped here.

Special teams

Special teams have been formed to investigate.
