Full points for Madras Blues

Chennai: Madras Blues garnered full points with a 2-1 victory over Sports Authority of India ‘A’ in the senior division hockey league championship at the Mayor Radhakrishan Stadium here on Saturday.

The teams were deadlocked 1-1 at half-time.

Vinod Kumar struck first midway through to give Blues the lead, but close on half-time SAI restored parity when Hari Prashant netted.

The match-winner came from Keith Barlier during the last quarter.
