Fire in oil jetty put out

NAGAPATTINAM: The fire that broke out in the crude oil jetty of the Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited at Panangudi near here on Friday evening was put out around 3 a.m. on Saturday. J. Abdul Jaffer, Divisional Fire Officer, Nagapattinam, said on Saturday that the fire was extinguished after nearly 11 hours. No casualty was reported.
