HYDERABAD: Don Cricket Club (Hyderabad) won the NTR memorial Gold Cup Twenty20 invitation cricket tournament with a five-wicket victory over Sholapur Cricket Club in the final at Zaheerabad on Sunday, according to information received here. Santosh Yadav of Don was named ‘man of the match’ for his 40, while teammate Ronit Bisht was adjudged ‘best batsman’ of the tournament. The scores: Sholapur CC 145 (Aamir three for 34, Ashok Singh three for 24) lost to Don Cricket Club (Hyd) 147 for five (Santosh Yadav 40). Silver for SaiR. Chandna Sai, a student of Chaitanya Junior College, won a silver medal in the trampoline event for seniors on Sunday in the on-going all-India trampoline and acrobatics championship at Naupada, Maharashtra, according Krishna District Gymnastic Association secretary A.S.
