RBNCC ‘A’ posts win

MYSORE: RBNCC ‘A’, helped by some good batting by C. Anand (81) and K.R. Pawan (50), registered a 47-run win over Yuvaraja’s College (Mysore) in the KSCA first division league here on Sunday.

The scores: First division: RBNCC ‘A’ 219 in 46 overs (C. Anand 81, K.R. Pawan 50) bt Yuvaraja’s College 172 in 44.4 overs (M.S. Vinay 54); Young Cricketers 259 for two in 46.5 overs (Yogesh 107, Uttam Raj 101) drew with Mysore CC 185 for eight in 58 overs (J. Suchith four for 48). Second division: Saraswathipuram CC 75 in 25.4 overs (Deepak four for 10) lost to The Mysore City Gymkhana 76 for four in 21.3 overs. Third division: Navodaya CC 267 for eight in 41 overs including 20 penalty runs for two overs short (Srinivas Prasad 49, Rajashekar 43) bt Mysore Underwriters 171 in 20.4 overs (Ramesh 40, Satish five for 66).

Saturday’s scores: First division: RBNCC ‘B’ 200 in 47.3 overs (D. Vijeth 87, Nirmith 48, S. Rohith four for 38) lost to The Mysore Gymkhana 202 for five in 46.4 overs (P. Ashok 44 not out, Nithin Vinayak 45); FUCC 285 for nine in 44.4 overs (Nagendra Kumar 83, Manjunath 40, Harikrishnakumar four for 84) bt National CC 178 in 42 overs (G. Deepak 51, A. Lokeshwar 48, Ramesh five for 36). Third divsion: SGKM 146 in 36.2 overs lost to FCC 151 for one in 28.5 overs (Mahalingappa 48, M.V. Vivek 55 n.o.).
