Double for Ritu

Bangalore: S.P. Ritu bagged a double in the State-ranking tennis tournament held at the Kims courts here on Sunday.

Ritu bagged the girls’ under-14 and under-12 singles titles.

In the under-14 final, Ritu defeated Shloka Kumar 6-1, 6-1 and in the under-12 final, she defeated Tarani 6-2, 6-0.

The results (finals):

Boys: U-14: Rohan Goankar bt Nikhil Reddy 6-2, 6-4; U-12: Mirejkar bt Udaya Kumar 6-0, 6-0.

Girls: U-14: S.P. Ritu bt Shloka Kumar 6-1, 6-1; U-12: S.P. Ritu bt Tarani 6-2, 6-0.

Children: U-10: B.R. Nikshep bt B.S. Rahul 6-0, 7-5.
