Rare honour

BHUBANESWAR: KIIT University Chancellor Achyuta Samanta has been placed amongst the top 15 social entrepreneurs of the world by US-based Social Edge- Skoll Foundation.

Mr. Samanta would be entitled a fellowship of US $ 20,000 amounting to a little over Rs.80, 0000 for a week programme from August 19 to 31, 2008 in Santa Clara University. He is likely to deliver lectures on various aspects of social entrepreneurship, a KIIT statement said here.
