Pilgrim drowns

Sabarimala: A 17-year-old pilgrim, identified as Manoj of Adithya Bhavan at Lalji Junction of Karunagappally in Kollam district, was downed in River Achankoil on Sunday. The deceased was a Plus Two student and the incident occurred when he was taking bath in the river, the police said. The body was fished out by the personnel of the Fire and Rescue Services with the help of local people.
