Chitradurga: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will contest in all 224 Assembly constituencies of the State, party state general secretary M. Jayanna has said. Addressing presspersons here on Sunday, he said the party hoped to win at least 40 seats in the elections. There would be no pre-poll alliance, he said and added that the party high command would decide on a post-poll alliance on the basis of the results. Accusing the Congress of self-centred politics, he said it had failed to provide opportunities to the backward classes and minorities. To strengthen its base in the State, the party had been organising conventions and rallies. It had gained immense support in many areas , he claimed.
