Sex education
This has reference to the news item ABVP opposes sex education ( The Hindu Jan 5). The hue and cry raised over the introduction of sex as a subject in schools is difficult to understand. Sex is a normal part of our life and probably the second most powerful urge that needs to be fulfilled, hunger being the first. Biology as a subject deals with almost everything about sex but for sex as a practice. It is time we did something to impart proper knowledge to our youth about sex as an activity. Our own rationality foresight can be the tools to carve out a healthy and positive lifestyle for ourselves.

Kudos to TTD
The TTD management deserves a praise for having made the Sreevari Darshan easy and convenient for senior citizens and the physically handicapped.
But is sorry to note lot of jostling, pushing and dashing takes place. The management should ensure better display of sign boards and other facilities with clarity giving no room for confusion.
