Estimates Committee members inspect ongoing works in Perambalur

PERAMBALUR: The Estimates Committee of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly had its sitting here recently.
Led by its Chairman V. Mullaivendan, the Committee inspected the progress of a few works being executed in and around Perambalur.
In Perambalur, the Committee inspected the work on the construction of additional buildings for the Government Higher Secondary School here taken up at an outlay of Rs.96.16 lakh sanctioned by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development.
At Kurumbalur, the Committee inspected the progress of the work on the construction of the Bharathidasan University College and the additional classrooms under construction for the Government Higher Secondary School.
The Chairman also inspected the works on the construction of the District Central Library at an outlay of Rs.68.75 lakh.
He visited the Integrated Court Complex being executed at an outlay of Rs.8.75 crore too.
The members of the Committee, R. M. Subburam, Jayaraman, Senthamizhselvan and Thangamani besides the Deputy Secretary to Assembly, Subbulakshmi were also present.
Collector Anil Meshram and Special District Revenue Officer (Land Acquisition) M. Narayanan were among those who were present.
