Wayanad college first in TTC festival

KASARAGOD: Newman’s College, Mananthawadi, Wayanad, emerged as overall champions in the 11th State pre-primary teachers’ training college (TTC) youth festival that ended at BTM Arts and Science College, Cherkkala, on Saturday evening.
Newman’s College secured 373 points. The host college which bagged 230 points finished second and Iqbal College, Kondotti, Malappuram, got the third prize with 226 points.
Controller of examinations of Kannur University K.P. Jayarajan inaugurated the valedictory meeting. Standing committee chairman of district panchayat P.A. Ashraf Ali presided. The former Minister and chairman of reception committee Cherkkalam Abdulla distributed prizes to winners.
