19 girls taken ill after meal

Balangir: Nineteen girls of a tribal residential school fell ill after taking mid-day meal at Dahimal village, about 50 km from here, police said on Sunday. The girls, who were served dry fish along with other food in the meal in the hostel yesterday, complained of vomiting and nausea, they said. The students were admitted to a hospital nearby and their condition was stated to be stable, Chief District Medical Officer A. C. Nayak said.
