Two killed in group clash

Two persons were killed in a group clash at Errampatti near Alanganallur in the district on Sunday. According to police sources, S. Govindan (50) and M. Alagarsamy (50) suffered grievous injuries when two groups clashed following an altercation on January 11.

The duo was referred to the Government Rajaji Hospital.

While Govindan died late on Saturday, Alagarsamy succumbed on Sunday evening.

The Alanganallur police are investigating. — Staff Reporter
