Gatorade Pacers 2008 event held

NEW DELHI: Vikram Dahiya and Vikas Tokas, both from Delhi and Deepak Chaudhary of Bhiwani were selected in the Under-22 pro category in the Delhi selection of the Gatorade Pacers 2008 here on Sunday.

The trio and Vishal Singh, Rahul Sharma and Dinesh Yadav, who made it in the Under-22 category, will get a chance to train at the National camp in Delhi where they will compete for a chance to be trained at the MRF Pace Foundation.

The selection was done by a panel comprising Vivek Razdan, T.A. Sekar and Uday Gupte.

Delhi round winners:

Under-15: Shelly Shaurya (Delhi Public School, R. K. Puram), Nitin Basoya (Queatta DAV), Prateek Kaushik (Salwan Boys School, Ranjendra Nagar).

Under-22: Vishal Singh (Delhi), Rahul Sharma (Jamshedpur), Dinesh Yadav (Jamshedpur).

Under-22 pro: Vikram Dahiya (Delhi), Vikas Tokas (Delhi), Deepak Chaudhary (Bhiwani).
