Mangalore triumphs

HYDERABAD: Mangalore University defeated Mahatma Gandhi University (Kottayam) 29-18, 29-12 in the final of the all-India inter-University ball badminton championship for women here on Sunday.

The results:

Final: Mangalore bt MGU 29-18, 29-12. League: MGU bt Madras 29-22, 29-21; Mangalore bt Anna 29-22, 29-5; MGU bt Anna 29-25, 29-18; Mangalore bt Madras 29-24, 29-27.
