BANGALORE: Two persons riding a motorcycle were killed when their vehicle was hit by a cement mixture lorry on Koramangala 1st Main on Saturday. According to the police, Rahul Dalmiya (22), a student of Chartered Accountant certificate course, and his friend, Ashish Rao (19), a BE 1st year student, were returning to their house on Lalbagh Road when the lorry hit the motorcycle and Ashish Rao died on the spot. Rahul Dalmiya died of injuries at St. John’s Hospital. The Adugodi traffic police have registered a case. Taken awayA four-member gang wearing police dress took away gold ornaments worth Rs. 25,000 from a farmhouse in Kaggalipura in the Thalaghattapura police station limits on Saturday. According to the police, the gang claiming to be policemen forced Sudhindra to open the door. Sudhindra works in the farmhouse of Manjunath. The gang then threatened Sudhindra and made away with the gold ornaments.
