BANGALORE: Sri Gavi Gangadhareshwaraswamy Temple is all set to witness the “miracle” when the sun’s rays fall directly on the idol of Lord Shiva on Makara Sankranti on January 15.

Darshan

A large number of devotees throng the cave temple every year for darshan on Makara Sankranti. Sri Gavi Gangadhareshwara Swamy Pallakki Utsava Samithi, in a release, said that arrangements had been made for devotees to witness the “miracle”, which was expected to happen between 4.45 p.m. and 5.10 p.m.

Devotees can also view it on the closed circuit televisions inside the temple or on the giant screen outside.
