This Day That Age
The Government of India has asked for a full and authorised report of what the Pakistan Prime Minister had said about putting Indian nationals in East Pakistan in concentration camps. No official reply has yet been received from the Pakistan Government. New Delhi is surprised that the expression “concentration camps” should have been used by the Pakistan Prime Minister in any context. Meanwhile, clarifications have been offered by the Pakistan Deputy High Commissioner in Calcutta and the Pakistan Minister for Relief and Rehabilitation that the reference by Mr. Feroze Khan Noon was only to those Indian nationals who did not possess valid visas or passports.
