Mumbai: Mathematica and Catalyst caught the eye when the horses were exercised here on Monday morning (Jan. 14).

Inner sand:

600m: Alexa (M. Narredu) 38.5. Moved freely. Can Can (M. Narredu) 39.5. Urged. Grand Stand (Belose) 39. Moved well.

800m: Star Of China (S. S. Rathore) 55.5, 600/41.5. Easy.

1,000m: Centreofattention (S. S. Rathore) 1-11, 600/43.5. Easy. Personified (D. Patel) 1-9, 600/42. Shaping well.

1,400m: Southern Empire (Donoghue), Ruben Star (D. Patel) 1-42, 1,200/1-27, 600/43.5. They were easy.

1,800m: Mathematica (S. Fargeat) 2-6, 1,600/1-51, 1,200/1-22, 1,000/1-7, 600/41. Moved attractively. Note.
