ALAPPUZHA: The body of a woman was found in her house at Purushan Kavala in Cherthala near here this morning. Her sons too were found near her in an unconscious state. According to the police, Binu, 42, was believed to have committed suicide by consuming ice-cream laced with pesticide. She was also believed to have given the poison-laced ice-cream to her sons, Sachu, 15, and Ananthu, 11, both of whom were in a critical condition and were under treatment in the intensive care unit of the Alappuzha Medical College. — Staff Reporter
