Avis, MCA post wins

MANGALORE: Avis Sunrise and Mangalore Cricket Academy (MCA) posted convincing wins in their respective pools in the Ramco Cup cricket tournament here on Monday.

The scores:

Group ‘D’: Avis Sunrise 240 for 9 in 25 overs (Rameez 82, Chandrakanth Purohith 47, Moin Khan 46, Rishith four for 19) bt Kendriya Vidyalaya 119 in 20 overs; Group ‘C’: MRPL School 110 for seven in 25 overs (Susheel Kumar Rathi 41 not out) lost to MCA 111 for eight in 24.3 overs.

Earlier scores: Group ‘A’: Canara HS 208 for two in 25 overs (Suhail Semitha 94 not out, Mahesh Shenoy 44) bt UCA 64 in 22 overs.
