Seeking justice: Activists of the Karnataka Rajya Dalit Sangharsha Samiti taking out a rally in Hassan on Monday. HASSAN: Members of the district unit of the Karnataka Rajya Dalit Sangharsha Samiti, led by its convener Rajashekhar, took out a procession here on Monday seeking regularisation of land that they are cultivating at Bhyrambudi and Bettadapura villages in Arsikere taluk. They presented a memorandum addressed to Governor Rameshwar Thakur, through the Deputy Commissioner. They said till date “pattas” were not issued to the cultivators. For the past 15 years, they had been pleading with the tahsildar on the issue, but to no avail. They urged the Governor to have the land allotted to them.
