Sharp increase in Metro ridership

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Metro railway registered a sharp increase in rider-ship over the weekend because of the ongoing Auto-Expo at Pragati Maidan.

According to a Delhi Metro Rail Corporation spokesman, the Pragati Maidan metro railway station witnessed over 80,000 commuters, netting a revenue of Rs.3.36 lakh.
