Kalam coming

BANGALORE: The former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam will participate in the inauguration of the new block at the Bangalore Baptist Hospital on January 18. The new block has been sponsored by the Non-Resident Indian Krishna Chivukula which comprises diagnostic laboratory facility, orthopaedic and ophthalmic theatres, blood bank facilities cardiac cath lab, intensive care unit, and coronary care unit under a built up area of 26,000 sq. ft. at Bellary Road, Hebbal. Hospital director Thomas Alexander told prespsersons that Lalitha Sastry Chivukula, mother of Mr. Krishna Chivkula, an advocate in Andhra Pradesh, will inaugurate the new block. — Staff Reporter
