Advani may hold talks with Prakash

Special Correspondent

BANGALORE: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, L.K. Advani, is expected to visit Bangalore on January 17.

Officially, Mr. Advani is coming to Bangalore for participating in a function in which the former Union Minister George Fernandez would be felicitated.

However, sources in the party said that during the visit, Mr. Advani would hold talks with senior Janata Dal (Secular) leader M.P. Prakash who is likely to join the party. The BJP leaders want Mr. Advani to announce the joining of Mr. Prakash to the party fold, if the proposed talks are fruitful,” sources said.
