KASARAGOD: Six persons, four CPI(M) workers and two BJP activists, were injured in clashes on the Chittari beach in Kanhangad on Sunday night. The injured CPI(M) workers were identified as K. Aravindakshan, K. Gopi, P.K. Raghavan and P.K. Kunhikkannan, all residents of the Chittari beach. The injured BJP workers were Uthaman and Mohanan, residents of nearby Poyyakkara. All the injured were admitted to various hospitals in Kanhangad. The condition of CPI(M) worker Kunhikkannan was reported to be serious.
