MADURAI: In an attempt aimed at addressing the wide gap between the industry and academia, Everonn Systems, a satellite-based education and training company, will organise a series of seminars targeting college students across the country from January 18 to 28. According to B. Anbu Thambi, Head – College Initiatives, the series, titled ‘Emerging Opportunities ’08,’ would be delivered live and fully interactive and students can participate in the sessions from their college or from Everonn centres located in all major cities. The company has already installed satellite-based classrooms in nearly 200 colleges across south India. All these colleges are connected to the studios in Chennai, where the sessions will originate. Students can make free registration to attend the seminars. Interested colleges (irrespective of their specialisation) can obtain the satellite-based facility from Everonn. Further details can be had from B. Anbu Thambi, Head – College Initiatives, Everonn Systems India Limited, Chennai. Ph: 044-45513205. email: anbu@everonn.com or visit www.everonn.com, according to a press release.
