MVM celebrates sports day
Good show: Students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir participating in cultural programmes during the annual sports day held recently.
HYDERABAD: Maharishi Vidya Mandir (MVM), celebrated its annual sports day on January 12, which also coincided with the birthday of Maharishi Mahesh Yogiji on its premises in Kondapur, a release from the school informed.
Director of Maharishi Institute of Management and Regional Director of MVM Schools, Southern Region G.K. Sahney was the chief guest in the annual sports event and distributed prizes to winners, release said.
Principal of MVM Hyderabad Vasanthy Parasuraman welcomed the gathering and presented the annual sports report on the occasion.
Colourful dance
The school’s nursery children welcomed the congregation by presenting a colourful flower dance while the senior students gave a lively performance to the beats of patriotic songs which also included Vandemataram and recent hit Chak-de-India, the release said.
